Chewy Granola Bars
Take These On The Road to Awakening - They Travel Well.
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup maple syrup or honey
1 cup tahini or nut butter
1/2 cup oil
3 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups oats
4 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
1 cup toasted sunflower seeds
1 cup toasted and crushed nuts
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup cranberries or raisins
Melt the wet ingredients together over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Fold in wet mixture, then spread in an oiled 9 by 13in pan. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. Cut into portions before completely cool. Take risks to find beauty and meaning in your life.
